EXPORT, PENNSYLVANIA – On May 24, the American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA) honored Infinity Concepts, a brand communications agency based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with the Beacon Award for its work in raising financial support for emergency medical services in Israel.
Magen David Adom is the national emergency medical service of Israel and the nation’s Red Cross affiliate.
AFMDA Chief Executive Officer Catherine Reed presented the Beacon Award at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention, in Orlando, Florida, as part of an evening of festivities that included the dedication of an ambulance. The new ambulance was purchased with funds donated by Christian supporters of Magen David Adom in the United States.
Infinity Concepts President and CEO Mark Dreistadt offered a prayer of dedication during the ceremony, and Dr. George Konetes, director of client success, cut the ribbon on the new ambulance.
Also speaking at the event was Ken Barun, recently retired executive vice president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
“We are grateful for the work of Mark, George, and the rest of the Infinity Concepts team in helping Magen David Adom provide emergency care to the injured, hurting, and critically ill in Israel,” commented Reed. “We can do what we do because of the commitment of friends like these. We very much appreciate their partnership in our lifesaving mission.”
“Infinity Concepts has been working with Magen David Adom for many years,” said Dreistadt. “We are humbled and thankful for this great recognition. We are honored to be a small part of the great work they are doing, saving lives in Israel every day.”
