Volunteer to Help Israeli Farmers

by Touchpoint Israel

For those interested in more than a week-long tourist vacation, the opportunity to spend several weeks working alongside Israeli farmers might be just the thing.

HaYovel is a non-profit organization created to help Christians from overseas bless Israeli farmers by volunteering on work trips. Volunteers help out in either olive orchards or vineyards throughout the country. HaYovel provides food and lodging, and arranges weekend trips to various biblical sites as well. These trips are a wonderful opportunity to meet and form friendships with the people of Israel, as well as other Christians from around the world.

Volunteer work trips vary between two and twelve weeks in length throughout the year, and costs range from $950 to $3600 (not including airfare).

Contact HaYovel for more information.
