The history of the area is filled with remnants from ancient Israel and the Crusader period, up through the early days of the Jewish return to the Promised Land. Nearly 250 members live on the kibbutz and operate a successful winery. Every Friday, the kibbutz hosts a tour of the winery that includes brunch and wine tasting.
Guest rooms are modern and comfortable, and each one includes a private balcony overlooking stunning scenery. The grounds include a seasonal swimming pool and tennis courts, an amusement park for children, a coffee shop, and gourmet chocolate shop.
