On the outskirts of Herzliya, along the Mediterranean coast, is one of Israel’s crusader castles from the 13th century. The entrance to the fortress, a stone archway, is still intact. The castle ruins sit on a picturesque cliff top, an ideal vantage point for the medieval fortress. Visitors can see a 3-D model of what the castle would have looked like almost 800 years ago.
