Nearly 1,000 different species of Israel’s wild plants are carefully cultivated within the Hebrew University Botanical Gardens on Mount Scopus, Jerusalem. Tourists and Jerusalemites alike enjoy wandering through the shaded and fragrant paths.

The Botanical Gardens showcase some of Israel’s rarest and most beautiful flora in a 6 acre conservatory. Among the trees and flowers you will also find the archaeological remains of ancient Jewish burial tombs from the Second Temple period.
