The site of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem is identified by some as the place both of the crucifixion (Golgotha) and the tomb of Jesus of Nazareth (Aedicula). Located within the walls of the Christian Quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City, the church has seen its share of changes over centuries and continues to be a major pilgrimage center for Christians all around the world.
